Invictus A+S is a boutique management consulting firm that helps healthcare leaders change the way decisions are made.  We are a focused group of strategy consultants dedicated to providing our clients powerful data-driven insights and creative, policy-shaping & evidence-supported strategies.  Who you’ll work with 

Healthcare in Canada is source of national pride. Although over 40% of provincial budgets are targeted to healthcare, our systems struggle with rising costs, wait times and expectations. We work closely with health system leaders in public and private sector organizations across a range of their most important issues, challenges and opportunities. You will join our established team, working closely with colleagues and clients consultants to develop responses to some of the most confounding questions and challenges facing health systems across Canada.  We support our clients develop and implement impactful, sustainable, and patient-centred strategies, and help them deliver value for the healthcare system and the taxpayers who fund it.  

 What you’ll do 

Engagement Managers are responsible for working with clients to understand their challenges, develop options based on a data-driven approach and architect bespoke recommendations in a manner that facilitates decision-making. You will leverage your advanced analytical abilities to tackle problems of all types, driving to conclusions and results by quickly identifying insights and implications, crafting workplans for your team, guiding your team’s efforts as they tackle work and managing progress including issue identification and resolution with the client. You will also foster an environment of continuous learning and growth, and coach members of our team as they enhance their skills to reach their full potential. Engagement Managers also drive firm building and business development activities, which include working with Partners to identify opportunities, contributing to bid development, and nurturing client relationships.  

 What you’ll bring 

• 6+ years relevant work experience (e.g., professional services, healthcare, etc.), of which at least 2 years were in management consulting. 
• Graduate-level education is an asset (e.g., Masters, MBA, PhD, MD, etc.). 
• Deep curiosity for understanding Canada’s healthcare environment and keen interest to solve its intricate problems. 
• Enthusiastic drive for using analytics to translate numbers into narratives, and insights into actions. 
• Love for working with and mentoring junior consultants, recognizing that their success is inherently yours too.
• Natural ability to maneuver intricate client situations, juggle diverse client expectations, and generate consensus among stakeholders during discussions.
