Full-time Associate and Senior Associate

Who you’ll work with 

Healthcare in Canada is source of national pride. Although over 40% of provincial budgets are targeted to healthcare, our systems struggle with rising costs, wait times and expectations. We work closely with health system leaders in public and private sector organizations across a range of their most important issues, challenges and opportunities. You will join our established team, working closely with colleagues and clients consultants to develop responses to some of the most confounding questions and challenges facing health systems across Canada.  We support our clients develop and implement impactful, sustainable, and patient-centred strategies, and help them deliver value for the healthcare system and the taxpayers who fund it.  

 What you’ll do 

Senior Associates actively participate in all aspects of client projects. You will identify clients’ issues and challenges, form hypotheses, design and conduct analyses, synthesize conclusions, and build documents with compelling narratives. On larger projects, you will lead and manage other consultants on the engagement, develop workplans to guide their efforts, and support their growth through active coaching and management. In addition to client responsibilities, you will continue to develop their knowledge and skills as well as contribute to the continuous development of the firm. 

 What you’ll bring 

  • 2 – 4 years relevant work experience in management consulting, other professional services, and/or healthcare 
  • Consulting experience is desirable; candidates with 2+ years consulting experience will be considered for the Senior Associate role. 
  • Graduate-level education (e.g., Masters, MBA, PhD, MD, etc.) is an asset. 
  • Deep curiosity for understanding Canada’s healthcare environment and keen interest to solve its intricate problems. 
  • Enthusiastic drive for using analytics to translate numbers into narratives, and insights into actions. 
  • Love for working with and mentoring junior consultants, recognizing that their success is inherently yours too. 
  • Natural ability to maneuver intricate client situations, juggle diverse client expectations, and generate consensus among stakeholders during discussions.
