Full-time Co-op Analyst Position

Who we are

Invictus A+S is a boutique management consulting firm that helps healthcare leaders change the way decisions are made. We are a focused group of strategy consultants dedicated to providing our clients powerful data-driven insights and creative, policy-shaping, evidence-supported strategies. We take a rigorous and pragmatic approach to leveraging analytics and have a deep understanding of leading practices and innovations in healthcare. Although we are a boutique in scale, we compete against global professional services firms and take pride in our track record of winning in the market and in the exceptional quality of the work we deliver.

Who you’ll work with

Healthcare in Canada is source of national pride. Although over 40% of provincial budgets are targeted to healthcare, our systems struggle with rising costs, wait times and expectations. We work closely with health system leaders in public and private sector organizations across a range of their most important issues, challenges, and opportunities. You will work closely with colleagues and clients to develop responses to some of the most confounding questions and challenges facing health systems across Canada. Your work will help our clients develop and implement impactful, sustainable, and patient-centered strategies, and help them deliver value for the healthcare system and the taxpayers who fund it.

What you’ll do

Analysts are given defined accountability within client engagements and provide support for all aspects of a project’s lifecycle. You will leverage your problem-solving skills to deconstruct complex questions within a targeted stream of work, surface core issues for your team and generate hypotheses to support framing of larger problems. A major component of an Analyst’s work involves conducting research and analyzing quantitative and qualitative evidence (i.e., complex, large datasets) to support business cases and presentations. You will contribute directly to client deliverables and will have the opportunity to present your work to your teams, advisors, and clients. In addition to client responsibilities, you will continue to develop your knowledge and skills as well as contribute to the continuous development of the firm.

What you’ll bring

  • Completion of the third year of an Undergraduate-level degree
  • Outstanding achievement in academics as well as other interests
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others
  • Openness to learning both formally and informally
  • Strong commitment to personal and professional growth

What we offer

Our firm’s most important asset is the people that work with us. We value exceptional work, personal development, and teamwork, and we’re committed to creating a positive and inclusive workplace. We also take pride in the collegial and collaborative culture we’ve curated over the years and are constantly adapting to improve our consultants’ experience. One way we do this is to ensure that we offer competitive remuneration and benefits packages. As collective growth is important to us, we provide all consultants the opportunity to climb their career ladder at a healthy pace and offer several professional development opportunities to ensure they maintain a strong trajectory.
